Based in Mattoon, Illinois, SAL International NFP is an independent, non‑governmental nonprofit that organizes community support, emergency relief, and essential supplies for vulnerable families. We partner with local groups and international NGOs to reach people quickly and transparently.

A city‑wide volunteer day to assemble and distribute 1,200 cold‑weather relief kits for families and seniors before winter.

Goals

  • Pack 1,200 kits (hats, gloves, socks, blankets, hygiene items).
  • Deliver to 8 distribution points across Coles County within 48 hours.
  • Fund a winter emergency micro‑grant pool of $15,000.
